Mar-18-05  Granite: Some nice tactics in this one. First you get 16. Nxb5 where if 16. ...cxb5 then 17. Bxf7+ would win the queen. The attack is non-stop from there till move 44 so I won't ruin the rest!

Johnnysaysthankyou: 14...c5 is an interesting move which I think does more for black's game, which means e4 is definitely a mistake. After 14...c5, white has to work hard to find a move. The most logical seems to be Bxc5 after which Nxc5 dxc5 promises white nothing. I happen to like not taking the pawn but playing e5. After that, white will play Qf4 and black will play Qa5 threatening Nh5.
