Sep-09-08  Whitehat1963: What happens if 16...exd5?
Sep-04-15  jerseybob: <Whitehat1963: What happens if 16...exd5?> 16..ed 17.Qc5,dc(forced) 18.ed and the bishop is eventually trapped, with white having a passer on d5.
Sep-07-15  jerseybob: <Whitehat1963:> Let me correct myself. After laying this out on a board, I realize my 9-4 post was wrong. It seems white's best after 16..exd5 is 17.Qd2,Qb5 (17..Qc4 18.b3!) 18.exd5,Bd5 19.Qd5,Qd5 20.Rd5 with a superior endgame. Of course, Tal may have had a shot planned which I've totally missed.
