May-12-04  Tigran Petrosian: Great game!! 19...e3!? took a lot of guts.

Honza Cervenka: 24...Qxg4 was not the best move. Much better would have been 24...Qh6! with deadly threat 25...Rxf1+. White has nothing better than 25.Nxg3 Qe3+ 26.Kh1! (26.Kh2 Rf2+ 27.Kh3 Bd6 28.Rg1 Qh6+ 29.Nh5 Rh2#) 26...Qxg3 with huge advantage of black. After text move white was okay till the move 33, when he made terrible blunder. After 33.Rg2 the position would have been unclear but I don't think that white should have lost it with correct play.
Nov-24-07  HOTDOG: 31.Rg1! seems winning,Black has no way to increase the pressure on the White king.33.Rg2?? is the losing move
Oct-05-10  ForeverYoung: years ago this game appeared in Northwest Chess in the article "Playing the Oppponent". The commentary on 19 ... e3 was "Tal now plays the man" The complications which follow are unbelievably complicated. While playing through this one a few days ago I was very surprised. Now how is Tal going to win this one?! Amazing mate at the end.
