Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-08-06  Poisonpawns: Nice pawn sac by Tal:Instead of stereo typed 15..Qe7 or Qc5 He plays 15..Qh5!for iniative.Easy to see but pretty nevertheless.
Jul-14-14  estrick: The position after 21. Rd1 is Question 30 in Khmelnitsky's "Chess Exam and Training Guide."

21. ...Bd4!? wins the exchange, but White gets "decent drawing chances."

If 21. ...Nxh2, 22. Nxh2, White will be unable to parry both of the mate threats on g2 and h2 after 22. ...Rxe2, 23. Rxd8+ Bf8.

It's interesting that after the dust settled, Tal "only got a routine win" in a pawn ending.
