  Honza Cervenka: I like 12...h5! Its main idea is 13.Bxc5 Ng4! 14.Bxf7+ (14.fxg4 hxg4 15.Re1 Qxh2+ 16.Kf1 Qh3+ 17.Kg1 Qh1#) 14...Ke7 15.Re1 (15.fxg4 leads to the same mating finish like in previous move) 15...Nxh2 16.Ng3 Kxf7 17.Be3 h4 and black wins. Tarrasch's 14...Bxe3 15.fxe3 Rh6 is sufficient, but much better seems to be Schlechter's 14...Rh6!! played in game Meitner vs Schlechter, 1895
Oct-15-07  ForeverYoung: I was looking at this game tonight. 14 ... Rh6 indeed wins directly. Burn gives 15 Bxh6 gxh6 16 Qd2 Nh5! and ... Nf4 puts White away. He suggests that Tarrasch may have been under time pressure to have missed this.
