Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-11-04  Tennyson: Fantastic use of kingside majority! Is there existing theory that explains the advance of the majority if black's pawn sits on f6? Seems to me that Aleksandar made Timman's job a lot easier by capturing pawn on g5 on move 28. But leaving the g5 pawn uncaptured was just as ugly by virtue of 29. gxf6 gxf6 30. f5 Bf7 31. Ng4 ... and the f6 pawn hangs. This leads me to believe that theory suggests moving king side majority if black's king is on queen side, especially if there's a headpawn on f6.
