Hanada: I call this the Hangin' queen mate. Hey, the dude stripped on buses but he sure could unleash an attack on an unsuspecting opponent. Reminds me of Morphy in his get out of the way and attack approach to the game.
Dec-29-09  rustyrook: Wow!6 --g6 blows white out of the water!A very amusing mating combination.
Dec-29-09  zanshin: Actually, White is better after <7.Nxd4>. Black won because <7.Re1> was premature.

Oct-26-11  Mozart72: An interesting move for White could be 6.Qe2 and exchange Queens.

I don't think so. You have to imagine what kind of conversation might have bought collusion about:

TORRE: Hey, Dupré, LOL. I have thought up this great game, D'you wanna be the loser of it?

DUPRÉ: What do I get out of it?

TORRE: People will mock you mercilessly for all time, but your name will get published.

DUPRÉ: Let's do this thing!!

TheTamale: I think 7) Re1 was actually an outstanding move--a !!?, maybe--because a single misstep by Black and he would have lost his queen. Ouch!
