Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-27-05  gidguy2000: Doesn't white have the win here with 18. Bxg7? It follows: 18...Bxg7 19.Rg3 with an unstoppable mating threat. Right?
Sep-27-05  Sequoia: 18. Bxg7 Bxg7; 19. Rg3 f5... but 18. Rg3 seems better.

Sep-27-05  aw1988: To 18. Rg3 Black has 18...Rc4 (counterattack!) 19. f4 Rfc8 20. Bxg7 h5!, winning.
Sep-03-06  islero: "El laberinto siciliano (1)" by Lev Polugaevsky. Ediciones Eseuve 1993. Page 42 & 43.

Domdaniel: <islero> "El Laberinto Siciliano" sounds more like Borges than Polugayevsky - <... dos reyes y >... "The Two Kings and the Two Labyrinths" was a Borges story. Very appropriate.
Jul-23-09  Bluevertere: <Doesn't white have the win here with 18. Bxg7? It follows: 18...Bxg7 19.Rg3 with an unstoppable mating threat. Right?>

Not right, because Black plays 19...f5 and the queen comes into play controling the f7 square.

Jun-08-17  laranara22: I prefer the move 9 ...e5 10 0-0-0 Qc7 11Bg5 Be7 12 Qd3 Be6 unclear but =
