Dec-26-03  Lawrence: Even before losing his Rook Znosko was down by 7.61. (Junior 8)

  Mateo: "14... Bf6 15. Be4 de 16. Rc5 winning a piece" (Golombek). Not exactly. Winning for sure but not a piece, because Black plays 16... b5. After 17. Be5 Qa4 18. Bf6 gf 19. Nb5 (for instance, 19... Qa2 20. Qd4 f5 21. Nc7 Rb8 22. Nd5 ).
Jan-16-08  RandomVisitor: 19.f4 or 20.f4 threatens to fork the bishop and knight... 20.f4 Bd7 21.f5 Nh8 22.Qb3 or 22.Bxd5 and white is winning.
Jun-27-11  southeuro: good point Mateo - I really like 16..b5!?
Jan-14-12  myusernameis: it was one of the first chess games I ever studied; I remember being deeply amused by Capablanca style: slow and quiet maneuvering... suddenly the opponent's position collapses like a house of cards

position after 29 Rfd2 is so beautiful; and black is hopeless, of course; this game could be called "House of cards"

Jul-23-13  bengalcat47: In this game bishops are clearly superior to rooks.
Jul-23-13  RookFile: The bishops had tremendous power.
Jun-22-18  bellh: By exchanging for the knights, and leaving Capa only bishops, Znosko was at least able to avoid a smothered mate
