Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-19-05  KingG: Shahade does quite well until she blunders at the end with 36.Bxh2??, when 36.g3 would have at least kept Black in the game. After 37.Qxe4 Qh7, Kosteniuk misses an immediate win with 38.Qd4. Black could have prolonged the game with 38...Rc7, although she is still probably losing.

I wonder if Shahade missed the continuation 23...Nxe4 24.Nxe6(24.Bg2 Nc5! 25.Qg3 Rc8 ) Bxe6 25.Qxe6 Nf2, winning the exchange, or if there is a reason she rejected it.
