Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-08-07  SilentEarth: Without making any glaring errors, Black's position gradually crumbles. The motif here is the same as in the orthodox KID, and the plan beginning with <18.f5> seems totally sound.

Rather than succumbing to positional strangulation with <e4-e3> and <f4>, Black should have gone for the throat with <19...Bxd2 20.Rxd2 g5 21.h3 Qf6>.

<20...Qh6> is faulty, because it blocks the pawn advance on the king side; the exchange with <21...Be3?!> can be answered with <22.Bg1!? Bxg1 23.Rxg1 Re8 24.a3> following the same plan as in the game.
