Nov-22-03  mprchess: And Gruz wins the queen!
Nov-22-03  crafty: 16. ♔b2 ♘xc3 17. ♕b3 ♕xd2+ 18. ♔a3 ♗c2   (eval -15.87; depth 13 ply; 500M nodes)
Nov-23-03  mprchess: Oops, missed that move.
Dec-24-09  godfire: 19. Qb2 (otherwise loses the queen) Nb5+ 20. cxb5 Rd3+ 21. Qb3 (21. Qc3 Rxc3#) Rxb3+ 22. Ka4 Qxb4#

or even better

19. Qb2 Rd3 20. white moves* 21. Nb5#

*white has some moves that prevent Nb5# but all lines lead to checkmate.

May-15-19  Damenlaeuferbauer: An eternal game and just one example of the dynamic, calculation-based chess women perform in the 21st century and new millennium. The moves 7.-,fxg1N+!! and 8.-,Qh4+ will be remembered as long as the royal game will be played. Unfortunately for White, just one year later the English GM Chris Ward found out, that instead of 3.dxe5? White has to play 3.e3! transposing to the exchange variation of the French defense with 3.-,exd4 4.exd4, presumely = or unclear, if 4.-,Nf6 follows. It is incredible and just shocking, how deep opening theory and preparation go nowadays!
