Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-02-11  berbanz: The opening moves of this game were played up to 5... O-O between kiddy players Samantila vs Sol Cruz in Leviste Cup 2011 (1/2-1/2). Incidentally, both kids were trained by GM Villamayor.

Aug-16-14  rjsolcruz: 3 years later, the first 5 moves were repeated in Balangatan-Sol Cruz in UAAP at Meralco between UP snd UST, where the top players if these schools were joined by their respective alumni to raise funds for their training, with the support of Sports and Youth Advocacy.

Balangatan of UP continued with the rare 6 Qb3.

By the way, 2011 was Sol Cruz Jr while 2014 was Sol Cruz Sr, a case of the father following in the footsteps of his son!
