  al wazir: Is black lost after 9...Kd6 10. Qf7 Be6 (10...Nxc2+? 11. Kd1 Nxa1 12. Ne4#) 11. Bxe6 Nxe6 ? Black is a ♙ down, but I don't see any way for white to mate.

Maybe 10. Qe4 is better.

  nezhmet: lost.. 12. Ne4+ Kd5 13. c4+ Kxe4 14. Qxe6 and the black king is looking very sad.

10. Qe4 would be a mistake because of Bf5

May-05-09  WhiteRook48: 8...Nd4 is weird. Someone get the Messenger to tell black that his king is gone!
Jun-27-09  WhiteRook48: *** should've done "Don't shoot the messenger" as the pun ***
