Honza Cervenka: This is classic of Evans Gambit. Very nice game.
Jul-21-07  Rubenus: Yeah. This game can be found in part 5 of Euwe's series of chess books called 'Praktische schaaklessen'.
Dec-28-07  Rubenus: Just a question: What about 12. ... e3 13. fxe3 d3? Closing the e-line removes the most immediate threat, I think, and black stays a pawn ahead.
Dec-30-07  sneaky pete: Cafferty and Harding suggest 12.Ng5 .. without further analysis. After 12.Nbd2 e3 I think white should play 13.cxd4 .. (with Rxe3+ .. next) to keep the centre open.
Aug-04-19  wordfunph: 3 undeveloped pieces for black.

1-0
