Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-28-03  ughaibu: Another exciting and surprising Anderssen game, from his early days.
Jul-27-04  aw1988: Amazing game.
Jan-19-05  erimiro1: Great game by Falkbeer, who invented the counter-gambit in the King's gambit. I wonder why this game remains unknown.
May-02-05  deuce2dos: I don't get why Falkbeer didn't just play 27. Re7 Rf6 28. Bxf6? Maybe he didn't see it or he just wanted to mess with Anderseen.
Nov-26-05  Sargon1: 27.♖e7 ?? ♖xc3
Nov-18-06  sfm: The way the sacrificed piece is given back with advantage is an enjoyable example of "defence". A lovely game.
Sep-11-09  Kasparkov: very good game.. a new lesson for me.. Thanks for this game...
Dec-01-10  Owerbart: Anderssen tried like a reversed Muzzio gambit... but Falkbeer was really dominating!

An Englishman: Good Evening: How odd--Anderssen plays a Reversed King's Gambit on move 2, whilst Falkbeer plays a Deferred King's Gambit on move 16!
