Nov-16-05  Bobak Zahmat: Morphy is legend. Every time I take a look at one of his games, I realize how great geneius he was.
Jan-29-09  WhiteRook48: then you should look at some of the games he lost. (I'm not serious, he did great play in those games too)
Nov-27-13  The Last Straw: Would 17...♗e6 be a better option?
Mar-27-21  paulmorphy1969: This match is dated in the book by Shibut and Maroczy 1866 but in my research I found that it was published by Maurian in the New Orleans Sunday Delta, June 20, 1858 (item 1) without the opponent's name link: http://www.chessarch.com/excavation... in the book of Shibut it ends at the 22nd move in the link and up to the 23rd move with the Checkmate.22..Kd7 23.Qd8#

MissScarlett: Where does the date April 21st come from?
Mar-27-21  Z4all: <Where does the date April 21st come from?>

Errr, <CG>?

Aside- In Z-base the source is primarily used for the move list source. If the date comes from a second source, I generally use a Notes tag to record it.
