Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-07-11  had2x: is this the right score? it seems to me that white is losing, i looked at it on every angle and did not find any win for white
Mar-07-11  Nilsson: The score is probably ok. but it should be 0-1 not 1-0. this misstakes are wery often seen.
Jun-01-11  rwbean: It should be 0-1 ... White is better after 21. Rfb1, Black spent too long setting up the cheap attack.
Jun-01-11  rwbean: The tactics are nice: 21. Rfb1 Ng3+ 22. hxg3 hxg3+ 23. Kg1 Qc8 24. Qe1 Rh1+ 25. Kxh1 Rh8+ 26. Kg1 Qh2+ 27. Kf1 Qh1+ 28. Ke2 Qxg2+ 29. Kd1 Rh8 30. Bf1. There's just enough space for the White king to escape!

master8ch: There's nothing subtle about Black's play here. White should have removed the f5 Knight as soon as Black's King moved off the back rank, if not sooner.

fredthebear: <rwbean>'s posts deal with the alternative 21.Rfb1. S/He meant to post 25...Qh8+. <rwbean> is correct that the White king can narrowly walk away on the light squares in this sequence beginning 21.Rfb1.

In the final position of the actual game, White would have to play miserable giveaway 24.Qe4 and 25.Rf2 to prevent Damiano's Mate from coming down the open h-file. It was better to go ahead and resign.
