Oct-23-04  Knight13: The big mistake is 3... b6??. This 5 move defeat is interesting.

  tpstar: 3 ... b6?! is positionally suspect by weakening the light squares on the Queenside, but the real blunder was 4 ... bc??; recapturing with the d Pawn gives Black a bad game yet he can play on. Note after 4 ... dc Black loses the exchange to 5. Bb5+ Nd7 (5 ... Bd7 6. Qd5) 6. Qd5 Rb8 7. Bf4 Ngf6 8. Qd3 Rb7 9. Bc6 Rc7 10. Bxc7 Qxc7 and White is winning.
Oct-17-05  moydemz: hi to every one..im just new hir and i want to play anyone who is interested.....i jaust want to test my skills hir in the net....just email me moydemz@yahoo.com
Feb-21-06  DeepBlade: Similar to Greco vs NN, 1620
Mar-17-06  McCool: I wonder now many times I've missed that play?
Mar-19-06  DeepBlade: <McCool> Indeed, developing your ♕ so early is awkward in some positions, but it does win material ;) This is how you can punish players trying to cling to the c5 pawn with b6.
Mar-26-06  McCool: What's the best defense here.

5. ..Nc6
6. Qxc6+ Bd7.

Mar-27-06  DeepBlade: 5.Qd5 Nc6 6.Qxc6+ Bd7
7.Bb5 Nf6 8.Qb7 Bxb5 9.Qxb5+ Nd7
And the position looks cramped for Black.

Also notice
5.Qd5 Nc6 6.Qxc6+ Bd7
7.Bb5 Bxc6 is a blunder because of 8.Bxc6+ Qd7 9.Bxd7+

Phony Benoni: Well, I wouldn't call 7.Bxc6 a blunder. In effect, it trades queens while a piece down. Not a recommended procedure to be sure, but not a blunder either.
Feb-18-08  D.Observer: Hmm, black loses a ♖ early.
Sep-17-12  vinidivici: lololol
