Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-02-05  peanut: Really, the white bishop has some real serious issues with the f7 pawn.
Nov-05-07  patzerboy: Tuomainen must have had a really bad stomachache after that last move.

(bad pun)
(think about it)

Dec-13-11  King Death: There are two things about this game that I can't figure out.

1. Why didn't Black snatch the e pawn at move 5?

2. What was a "vr" Olympiad? As far as I know, no world team event was held in Medellin.

wwall: This was the 6th Women's Olympiad, held in Medellin, Columbia. It had 25 teams. USSR took the gold, followed by Romania and Bulgaria. This game was the shortest of the tournament.

sea7kenp: Black might as well take the Bishop because, in my opinion, 8 ... Kf8 is worse, due to 9 e6.
Jun-02-19  siggemannen: Both are kinda bad, after 8...Kf8 9.Ng5, black's queen is "mated"

  sea7kenp: You got a point, <siggemannen>.
