Oct-28-03  Lawrence: Black's goose is certainly not cooked here so it seems a bit daffy to resign. Mistaken or incomplete game score perhaps, or some other anomaly?
Oct-28-03  Diggitydawg: <goose..daffy..quack> groan!
Oct-28-03  Lawrence: Sorry, I thought you'd dig it.
Oct-28-03  Lawrence: And D.D., I hope you didn't miss Hauser vs Kruger, sheer inspiration.

patzer2: Black equalizes with 9...Bxg2 10. Kxg2 f6 11. exf6 Nxf6 12. Nbd2 h5, so resignation was a mistake. Still, the game has some merit in showing a good equaizing continuation for White after 8. Qa4 Bh3 in the Albin Counter Gambit.
Jun-01-04  mynameisrandy: Lawrence, I thought those puns were great.

tpstar: <Lawrence> I took a gander at this game and agree how it is not all it's quacked up to be. As to why Black got a goose egg, maybe he had to duck out of there, or perhaps there was fowl play?

LOL!!

Caissar award for best punner: <tpstar>!

Dec-21-05  hayton3: This was a 'doctored' win for White
