Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-16-04  Leviathan: This really make me smile because this opening is one of the most popular between beginners, and I keep repeating them: developing the Queen too early is a mistake!!
I never saw anyone winning with the Greco opening without some huge help from his opponent!
Dec-15-04  morphy234: This reminds me of that Morphy vs. Carpentier game - where he mated him from the corner.
Apr-13-08  engmaster: What a wonderful game, stupid crafty computer keeps playing this ,now I have him!
Sep-15-14  Bronder: A stunning checkmate! Once Black starts to make mistakes they just amplify. One can learn from Greco vs NN not to go down the path of Black moving its Queen to F6 and then to G6.

In this database white is 11-0 vs. this defense. Convincing evidence that itís not good!

sea7kenp: You know what they say about a Knight in the Corner. Oh Wait! That Corner Knight just Mated the Black King? Never mind.
