An Englishman: Good Evening: I do believe I'm having one of my dumb-as-a-post moments, but after 5.Bxf7+,Kxf7; 6.Ng5+,Qxg5; 7.Bxg5,Bxd1; 8.Kxd1,Nc6, Black seems to be up a piece. Not, however, 8...Bxf2??; 9.Rf1,Kg6??; 10.Rxf2,Kxg5; 11.Rf8! with a rather tight grip on the Black pieces.

  tpstar: <An Englishman> I'll bet this was an intentional sacrifice for 2 Pawns with 5. Bxf7+!? Kxf7 6. Nxe5+ dxe5 7. Qxg4 but Black is much better after 7 ... Nf6 8. Qf5 Re8 castling by hand. 6. Ng5+?! is worse due to 6 ... Qxg5! like you said. In the game, declining the offer with 5 ... Kd7? lost quickly.
