Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-02-05  schnarre: Ugh!!! Why 10...d5 (especially before the Bishop was on f7), & how could the fork be so readilly missed? (sigh) 6...Be6 looks to be the best move here either for developing (7...Qd7, 8...0-0-0) or attack (7...g5/Nd4).
Nov-02-05  prinsallan: <schnarre> I totally agree... Is the black player rated 1200? :D
Nov-02-05  chesscrazy: If you look on his profile you only see 4 games. He lost all of them! 10...d5 was terrible and so was 11...Qd7.
Nov-03-05  prinsallan: <chesscrazy> Thanks m8, I never took the time to check him out, but it didnt take a genius to see that black has no opening theory at all to lean back to.

Already the 6th move is terrible. 6... Bg4.

I mean, what is the point to this?
Pinning the Knight to the Queen? Of course, but why? Only thing it does is losing a Tempo.

Some players that play this move does it to trade off a bishop for a knight. If you know your opponent is weak with Bishops and strong with Knights this is ok, especially if you are weak with Bishops yourself, personally I think it stinks.

Nov-03-05  prinsallan: Blacks 11. ...Qd7 is also funny ^^
Nov-03-05  schnarre: <prinsallen> Probably is 1200 or less (I'm no genius, but I've played the Damiano better than this). 11...Qd7 appears to have been saying "you've got me"!
Nov-09-05  prinsallan: <schnarre> Everytime I look at this game, 11... Qd7 makes me laugh out loud, it is so awesome ^^
Nov-09-05  EmperorAtahualpa: <prinsallan> Note that 12.Nxf6+ is actually a threefold fork! Black's bishop at h5 and the rook on g8 are also en prise.
Nov-12-05  schnarre: Curtains all around!
Nov-16-05  prinsallan: <EmperorAtahualpa> Noted. Blacks defenses are a total mess :D
Nov-16-05  schnarre: Quite!
