Sep-28-07  gambitfan: By interversion of moves a Latvian gambit!
Nov-19-07  Marmot PFL: 4.h3 is a strangely passive move compared to white's other moves in this game. From a bold attacker like Napoleon I would expect 4.d4 or Bc4.

cu8sfan: Short Napoleon playing a female before losing in Russia?

Open Defence: lol maybe Bidmonfa or Karpova can tell us who the shortest Russian Female player is ?
Jan-25-08  jovack: Is she stupid? Please look at the game before this (with napoleon as black).

He beat her in the EXACT SAME FASHION.

Wow, I guess he wasn't playing with her for a good chess challenge.

Jan-27-08  puzzlefreak: I love how the king just runs down the board.
Feb-02-08  wolfmaster: De Remusat was Torn-aparte!
Feb-02-08  wolfmaster: <puzzlefreak> Me too!
Feb-02-08  Rolfo: <jovack> Some Madames just don't learn.. They want to be conquerred :)
Feb-14-08  ruyfanatic: Napoleon won 75% of his games. That's pretty good.
Feb-14-08  Riverbeast: I wouldn't be surprised if this game was pre-arranged, or if she just lost on purpose....

Napoleon was really a weak player, though he was known to have a predilection for moving his knights often in the opening...they said this reflected the fact that he favored the cavalry in warfare

Mar-17-08  Samagonka: What a crazy King!

Mar-17-08  Whitehat1963: LOL! <whiteshark>

To me, this looks like one of Morphy's slaughters.

Mar-17-08  Whitehat1963: Actually, I think this makes for a good Tuesday/Wednesday puzzle after 10...Kd6.
Oct-20-08  ChessKaze: It make me laugh :))) Same game as 2 years ago. Madame jumped for same trap twice!
Jan-24-09  WhiteRook48: great king hunt
Jan-28-09  WhiteRook48: the other game is no longer in the database
Aug-09-09  David2009: Napoleon did well despite Madame De Remusat 's provocative opening.
Jan-11-10  ChessKnightsOfLondon: Madame sadly fell into the trap of getting her king exposed early in the game. Indeed her play was sadly a little weak and Mr Napoleon punished her accordingly.

HeMateMe: Madame Remusat met the same fate as the russians at Borodino.
Jul-13-10  renumeratedfrog: She apparently played all her chess matches against Napoleon in the nude, which leads me to believe that the game itself was just a excuse for a sexual liaison and was probably staged.
Jan-05-12  brankat: Judging by this game, particularly the first two moves, she probably understood Chess better than Napoleon did. Must have been obliged to loose :-)
Jan-05-12  JoergWalter: <brankat: Must have been obliged to loose> her job was to surrender at any time.
Jan-26-15  GoldenBird: Napoleon plays like he would on the front, fighting relentlessly with an initiative, giving up part of his army if necessary
