Apr-11-05  Sirthursday: This resignation seems a bit premature to me...after 11...Kd8 12.Nxf8+ Kc8 13.Nxa8 Be8 there's no way for the white knight to escape alive, so essentially black is a rook and two pawns for a two pieces. That's not such terrible odds is it?

TheAlchemist: <Sirthursday> 12.Nfg5! Qb6 (white threatened mate) or. 12...Be8 13.Ngxf7 and white is much better, as the knight can escape
May-04-05  schnarre: Shouldn't that be 11...Kd8, 12. Nxf7+ Kc8, 13. Nxh8 Be8, 14. Ng5 (threatening the e6 pawn)? White should have no difficulty winning!
Jun-09-09  ChessEscudero: The power of knight!
Aug-08-09  kooley782: Yes, this resignation is reasonable.

louispaulsen88888888: I admit to playing a worse move in an identical position. 10...Qd8?????
Jan-01-20  sea7kenp: <louispaulsen88888888>, Whoops!
