tpstar: <Whitehat1963> After 9. Qe2/Qf3 Nxc2+ & 10 ... Nxa1 Black is up 2 Pawns and the exchange. Based on my review of Bill Wall's other short wins, I suspect he truncates these gamescores to create miniatures (i.e., they played it out), but this is only my opinion. Either way, nice job by Black exploiting opening mistakes.

wwall: I do truncate a few percentage of my games when it is really obvious, especially with novices who will play out to checkmate, even though a rook (as in this case) or queen down.

7.b3? was wrong, giving me a target for the rook. Best to play 7.c4 or 7.Be2. After 8...Nxe3, if 9.Qe2, then 9...Nxc2+ 10.Kd1 Nxa1 11.Bb2 Qa5 is an easy win.

Jan-20-17  ChessHigherCat: I'll restrain myself from the obvious "Martinez up against the Wall" since you've probably heard it a million times already, not to mention the fact it's unlikely to become a game of the day
