Feb-07-04  Catfriend: Did he fear that nasty double-rook sacrifice on the 28-30 moves?
Jul-11-04  mynameisrandy: I guess he didn't see that 29... h4! refutes it completely.
Aug-03-04  ArturoRivera: <Mynameisrandy> you are completly wrong beacause after 29.-...h4 30.-Qc5! holds on to the extrapawn and treathens a rook and mate at the same time!
Aug-10-04  nyarlathotepcraft: I'm disgusted.
Aug-25-04  fgh: Maybe black owns 32 piece tablebases.
Oct-31-04  dac1990: Your analysis is off. After 30. Qc5? Bxg2+! 31. Kxg2 Nd3+ picks up the queen.
Nov-01-04  sneaky pete: <dac1990> I fail to see how 30... Bxg2+ 31.Kxg2 Nd3 can be a check, directly or discovered, unless white has another king on e1.
Nov-01-04  clocked: <sneaky pete> Look harder... Q on a2 and knight on b2

offramp: <fgh: Maybe black owns 32 piece tablebases.> Lol! Now available on 595,622 DVDs.
Nov-07-04  dac1990: Whoops! The KIng is on b2 after White's 10. 0-0-0.
Jan-14-05  Backward Development: Zugzwang!
Feb-21-06  McCool: Darn. That h3 can really getcha sometimes, I'm gonna remeber that one.
Sep-05-06  hidude: h3 is better than h4
Apr-23-07  Hot Logic: The best move however, is clearly
1...resigns
Nov-09-07  HOTDOG: 1.h3 is undoubtely the best move.Black saw that after 1...Nf6 2.e4 d5 3.exd5 Nxd5 4.d4 he couldn't play 4...Bg4 and after 5.Nf3 White has a complete center control so Black resigned

  alexmagnus: Chim Pan Zee.
May-30-08  Trigonometrist: "Dope"ning..
May-30-08  Mate Hunter: Nice queen trap! Black's queen is completly lost after 1...e6 2. d4 Qg5! What else can Black possibly do? Nothing but resign.

Another beautiful opening trap, always good to remember...

Domdaniel: At least Black didn't play on in a lost position.
Dec-02-08  WhiteRook48: 1. h3 = 1-0
Dec-18-08  WhiteRook48: I played 1. h4!! in a game and won with King& Rook vs King ending.
Dec-23-08  WhiteRook48: The best move, however, is to resign because of a forced checkmate in 99 moves I'm too lazy to post it...NOT!
Jan-24-09  WhiteRook48: the subtle 1. h3! poses Black a problem
Feb-03-09  WhiteRook48: White will proceed to overprotect g4
Feb-14-09  WhiteRook48: the reverse Anderssen's opening
