  Tabanus: <Which is correct?> J C Fraser vs Steinitz, 1867 was both scheduled and played in rd. 8 Sept. 12. Steinitz had then played all 9 games. The game on this page can be assigned to rd. 9, and the only option seems to be it was played in advance on Sept. 11.
