Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-22-02  bishop: 12...0-0-0 was too risky. 14...g5 was not good, Black could not play 16...fxg5 because of 17.Ne5 Qe8 18.Qa4 Kb7 19.Re3 winning.
Apr-25-04  Rama: Wonderful maneuvering by Shirov!
Apr-25-04  Fritzi: Can anybody explain why not 16...fxg5???
I am a new member.
Apr-26-04  Cyphelium: <Fritzi> After 16.- fxg5, 17. Ne5 Qe8 (not 17.- Nxe5?? 18. Qxb7 mate) 18. Bxc6 bxc6 19. Qa4 is winning for white. The threat is 20. Qxa6+ Kb8 21. Nxc6+ of course, and if 19.- Kb7, then 20. Re3 wins.
Aug-21-05  SEMENELIN: at 25. Bf5+ Kb8 Holmes made a mistake in his response =)
Jun-14-17  Kettalchess: 16 Bg5 ?? fxg5 ! winning for black( 17Ne5 Bxe5 0-1)
Jun-14-17  Muttley101: <Kettalchess: 16 Bg5 ?? fxg5 ! winning for black( 17Ne5 Bxe5 0-1)>

16 .. Bf8xe5 is not a legal move. Black replies with 16 .. Bg7 and white retreats the Bg5 to h4 ...
