This is far from wrong; the game continuation is not at all difficult to foresee.

  Korora: I'm looking at 7... ♕e8 8. ♕c3 e6, a line where Black guards against check with the ♕ and protects the ♘ while at the same time opening a line for the ♗. Black would still have a partially-exposed ♔, of course...
