Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-24-03  PinkPanther: Geez, a 2549 GM doesn't even make it out of the opening? I've always said, if you're gonna play the Grünfeld, you'd better know your stuff. By the way, is the Bg5 variation of the Grünfeld thought of as being a respectable variation for white to play?
Nov-24-03  Benjamin Lau: It's well respected at the top levels (though players often prefer D85 and other more popular variations), but statistics and my own personal experience make me I kind of wonder if putting the bishop there is all that useful.
