  Honza Cervenka: Very nice game.
Feb-10-04  MrDon: I have not see a good argument for 5...Nc6 in the Kan. Vogt took early task with 6. Nxc6 removing the Knight and leaving 6...Bxc6 with a herd of poorly supported pawns. The Nd7 move voluntarily erases the defense for the castled King and the game goes down hill quickly from there... 1-0.
Sep-16-07  diegoami: According to the book "Sicilian Kan", this game was played in Hamburg
Dec-22-20  paulthebox: The event was a Romania-DDR match, februar 1984. The position after 24...Be7 would be a good daily puzzle.
Dec-22-20  paulthebox: The immediate 25. Bh8 Bf8 26. Rg7+ Kxh8 28. Rxg6+ fails to e5!; the meaning of 25. f5 is thus to eliminate that resource (gxf5 26. Bh8 Bf8 27. Rxf5!).

fredthebear: If 26...RxQd4 27.Rg7+ and whichever way the Black king steps, White mates next move by capturing on g6.
