Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-25-03  Helloween: 18...f6? is surprising. I think 18...h4 would have gone along with the plan better, possibly allowing the Rook to come out to h5. I guess he didn't mind being saddled with the hideous Kingside pawns, as he felt he would get counterplay on the opened g-file. 23...Nh4!? is tricky and would have made use of that same g-file but Leko wasn't falling for anything that day.
Dec-09-04  Bobak Zahmat: Peter Leko is awesome! It is great to see that's not impossible to beat the Berlin Defense! But not averyone is as talented as Leko is.
May-22-06  Whitehat1963: Extremely well played by Leko!
