Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-19-05  Ramin: white to play and win 25. ?
Sep-19-05  Raskolnikov: A good point <Ramin>. White to play and win at the 24th is also possible. 23.Rdf1 is the last preparation move (Rustam has already seen 25.Rf6 I think). Could 23...Rfe8 have saved Black? For example 24.Rh3 h6 and 25.Rf6 doesn't work since 25...B:f6 26.N:f6+ gf 27.Q:h6 Ng6. Critical is 24.R:f7 N:f7 25.Q:f7+ Kh8 26.Ng5 but after 26...Rf8 27.B:e6 R:f7 28.N:f7+ Kg8 29.N:d8+ I don't see any win for White.
Sep-22-05  Raskolnikov: I checked my former post with Fritz and it immedeatly shows: (24.R:f7 N:f7 25.Q:f7+ Kh8 26.Ng5 Rf8) 27.Q:g7+ K:g7 28.Ne6+ and 29.N:c7 .
