Sep-03-05  aw1988: Major imbalances here...
Feb-11-07  eXodus: Nice game, also a bit funny watching how Acs tries a trap in the end.

plang: The Sozin line has been out of fashion since Fischer used it regularly in the 60s. 18 Rf2!? was new but certainly was no improvement and has not been repeated. 18 Bc3 was played by Short against Kasparov in game 14 of their 1993 WC match and the game was drawn; 18 Be3 has also enjoyed popularity. 19..Qxe7!? was very risky; 19..Nf6 20 Qxb7..Rad8 21 Re1..Rxd6 22 Bxf2..Kh8 23 Bb3 would have been equal. 23..Bd5?! was questionable; better would have been 23..Rec8 24 g5..Ne4 25 Rfe2..Nd6 with unclear play. 30..Bg6 followed by ..Kf7 would have been a better defense. Muller was critical of 33 Re6? saying he should have pressed his advantage more patiently with 33 b3. 40..h6?! was played hoping for 41 gxh..g5+! but, instead, after 41 Rxd7+! White was winning.
