Apr-04-10  garcimitch: A very nice attack versus a strong GMI!
May-16-10  Xeroxx: Awesome game.

  whiteshark: <Xeroxx: Awesome game.> Indeed!

Price question: What's wrong with <21.Qxe3>?

Dec-23-10  Xeroxx: Then 21... Qc6+ look strong.

  whiteshark: <Xxerox> That's it. :D
Dec-23-11  Xeroxx: That's right.

offramp: Pun based on Dark Night of the Soul by St John of the Cross, a Doctor of the Church. In fact, white must have been very Cross with himself.

  kevin86: Great win for black!
Oct-16-13  IPrometheus: 21 Qxe3 Qc6+ 22 Kb2 (22 Kd2 Qc2+ 23 Ke1 Re8) 22...Qc2+ 23 Ka3 a5(forced; further sacs fail) 24 Rd2 (Ra1 Re8!) and after 24...Qc4 or 24...Qc1+, I fail to see a winning knockout for Black...great question, Whiteshark, and lackluster response Xeroxx!!
Oct-16-13  IPrometheus: Ooooops--my apologies: 24 Rd2 Qa4+ 25 Kb2 Qxa2+ 26 Kc3 Qa3#! So Xeroxx went by R.J. Fischer's famous admonition: "I know it's mate, even if I don't know all the variations."

Hey, I'm a rookie. Gimme a bre ak!! (Get it?1)

Oct-16-13  Pballa: <IPrometheus:>

Your above line doesn't work. On 23..a5 24.Qb3+ and white wins. The best line is 23..Qa4+ 24.Kb2 Qa2+ 25.Kc3 Nd5+ 26.Kd3 Qb3 and black wins.

whiteshark: According to the winner in an <Rochade 02/2017> interview his best game.

Count Wedgemore: <whiteshark> Well, I can understand that he was proud of this fine attacking game. And in the Chigorin no less! Morozevich has had some great wins in this opening, and there was something almost morozevichian (it's cool to invent new words, right?) in Souleidis' play here. A very entertaining game.
