wwall: After 27...h5, why not 28.Nxh5 instead of 28.e5.

34.Rg1? seems to lose. Better may be 34.Kb4 and 35.b3.

Instead of 35...Be6, best may be 35...a5+! 36.Ka3 (36.Kxa5 Ra8+ 37.Kb6 Qc6 mate) b5 37.b4 axb4 38.Kxb4 Ra8 39.Nxf5 Qxf5, threatening 40...Ra4+ and winning the Queen.

Instead of 36.Qc5, better is 36.Qc3 Qf2 37.Rd1

Instead of 36...a5+, best is 36...Qb2+ 37.Ka4 (37.Ka5 b6+) Bd7+ 38.Nb5 Bxb5+ 39.Qxb5 Rd4+ 40.Ka5 Qxa2 mate.

Apr-12-09  vonKrolock: <27...h5> 28.♘xh5 looks dangerous: 28...♕xh2, and now if 29.♘f4 then 29...♗g4! with some serious threats; or if 29.♕e2 then 29...♕h4! etc

<36.♕c5> "36.♕c3 ♕f2 37.♖d1 " but then 37...a5+ is still annoying

Aug-21-12  Lacplesis: 40...Qc4 41. Ka3 Qb3# ?? Perhaps a blitz game?:D
