Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-21-17  Delboy: There is a lot of entertainment packed into this little gem. 12. ... Bxc5! already invites 13. b4 with an apparent piece loss, but 13. ... Nxb4 14. cxb4 Bxb4+ 15. Kd1 Qa4+ 16. Kc1 Bd7 and the upcoming 17. ... Rac8+ seems terminal. The bishop once more stuns white with 13. ... Bxf2+ on the next move. On move 15 Nd2 or Ke2 would be met by 15. ... Qxb2+ followed by Qxa1. 15. Kg3 looks suicidal, though it took a third hammer blow, 15. ... Nxe5, to refute it. 15. Ke1 Qxb2 16. Nb3 Qxc3+ 17. Nfd2 Qxe5+, when black has four pawns for the piece, is presumably white's best chance.
