Mar-23-08  whiteshark: According to Raymond Keene's <Reappraisal>, p114 (+crosstable p101), this game has been played in Sept 1912 at the <All-Russian championship>.
Mar-23-08  Karpova: <whiteshark>
If you look at the Nimzowitsch - biography in <My System> and the tournament tables at the end you'll find no tournament play in 1921. He seems to have started playing seriously again not until 1923 (disregarding the disaster at Göteborg 1920). So it's most likely that the numbers were simply switched.
Mar-24-08  whiteshark: <Karpova> Thank you for checking/confirming.

Posted it already as correction. :D

May-05-08  whiteshark: Done again.

Phony Benoni: Further confirmation: the result and colors match those of their round 8 game at Vilna 1912, though that round was probably played on August 29.
Jan-29-09  laskereshevsky: Listen to me, my loyals subjected,

I hereby declare:... Since about 25 years ago, when, as a tender child, approached the study of the books: MY SISTEM, and THE PRAXIS OF MY SISTEM, I know for shore that this game was played in the 1912...

SO HE SAID IT....

I signe this statement with my ring...

his pompous majesty LASKERESHEVSKY

Jan-29-09  Ychromosome: If 30.fxg3 Qxh3 31.Qh2 Qxh2+ 32.Kxh2 Rxd2+ 33.Kh3 fxg3 34.Rxg3 Rff2 and black is up a whole rook and has 2 rooks on the 7th.
Jan-29-09  whiteshark: <Your pompous majesty LASKERESHEVSKY> ... but a correction of a date only through official chessgames.com channels.
