May-14-05  Pawsome: Not having learned his lesson in the previous game (see database), Lochner suffers an extreme bout of Chutzpah and attacks (Nxb4) when he should have defended (00).

I don't know if 14. ... O-O would have saved Black. 15. Bc5! Now: a. 15. ... Ne7? just loses a piece.
b. 15. ... Re8; 16. Nxc7 forks the Rooks.
c. 15. ... Rd8; 16. Rxd8+, Nxd8; 17. Nxc7, Rb8; 18. Bb5, Qb3 and now White has threats of 19. Bxa7 and 19. Qd2 threatening mate and the Knight at d8.

May-01-06  technical draw: When black plays 14..NxB4, he's probably thinking.."nothing to worry about, if push comes to shove I have, at least, a perpetual"...then the Bishop, that darn Bishop.
