technical draw: Me parece que Manuel le debe a Francisco por lo menos una cerveza por ese mate ridiculo.

Do you guys know about google's capability as a translator? Well, not many people do, and I was wondering if you could provide a link in your FAQ to this version of chessgames.com (the translated version google creates): http://translate.google.com/transla... This could make it easier for the Spanish kibitzers to follow along, although not many people will still understand them when they say anything since it's a one way street of sorts.

Jan-05-05  fgh: Interesting..
Feb-01-05  Flo: Is there a translator for german visitors, too?
Feb-01-05  hintza: <Flo> Yes, there are many languages available. Just visit http://www.google.com/translate_t and enter the web address of the page you wish to translate, and the languages you are translating to and from, and then hit "Translate". However, a word of caution: these machine translations are good for understanding the general content of something, but they are often innacurate or give strange results.
Feb-05-05  Flo: <hintza> Thx for the web address! I tried it and it worked, but as you said: there are very strange results. But it's OK and it helps a little bit to use chessgames.com!
Mar-31-05  peanut: try this, www.freetranslation.com
I believe its still free. ;)
Jun-14-05  aw1988: Gibraltar MASTERS?

TheAlchemist: "Matto" = "crazy" in Italian
Jan-23-06  notsodeepthought: <TheAlchemist> True, but also - and sadly fitting, in this case - "mate." As in "scacco matto" - checkmate. Perhaps black just wanted to live up to his name.

TheAlchemist: <notsodeepthought> ...in both senses :-)
Feb-22-06  MorphyMatt: lol, black was doing fine until he allowed mate in 1!
Feb-22-06  RookFile: Modern chess at its best.
Mar-17-07  coolbob: Anything wrong with 5.Qxd4?
Jun-12-09  WhiteRook48: not sure
Jul-31-18  posoo: lol when da old posoo DOS lose, he losses like DIS - spactaculary!
Jul-07-20  sea7kenp: 6 ... Nd7 looks a lot like a Helpmate move.
Jan-19-22  JimmyVermeer: It's very similar to Serrano vs. Dorado (1994), except for the route White's knight takes to get to e4.
