Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-22-05  George and Vulture: How does a game played on 2nd October 2002 between Jonathan Blackburn and Martyn Goodger get itself attributed to Joseph Blackburne 136 years earlier? I suppose Jonathan should be honoured if someone thought he won in the style of his illustrious predecessor who has almost the same surname. I would have thought that the idea of company sponsorship in 1866 might have given a clue!.
Jul-28-05  George and Vulture: It was given to Joseph Henry Blackburne in 1866 - honest!
