Jul-01-07  Autoreparaturwerkbau: After 6...hxg6 it seems white only has to choose which piece to take (pawn/rook) in order to win in any case.

In reality, white never won the game from this position on (6 such games it the database). Astounding.

  OBIT: <Autorepar...>I'm generally skeptical of the statistics for speculative lines in databases like these. The stats typically look great, but I think it's because the games that get uploaded are the ones where the speculative line actually works. Who wants to see a daring opening go down in flames?
