Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-30-04  Lawrence: Deepan's 11...Be7? (...Qd5) was weak and 15...Qd5? (...Rhd8) was just what Magnus needed to fall on him like a ton of bricks. (Junior 8)
May-12-04  MoonlitKnight: On move 12, Magnus declines to win the queen with Nf6+ because then the game would probably have lasted more than 20 moves.
Jun-29-04  jeffnool: what if i play 9...Qd4?

  Chessical: <Jeffnool> Your move <9...Qd4> seems like a definate improvement; e.g. <10.Qe2> Be6 11.Rd1 Qe5/Qb4.
Sep-24-09  aazqua: Ouch. That's a painful beat down for a 2300+ ranked player.
May-18-16  RKnight: I was wondering why Deepan resigned, but then saw 21...Qb6 22. Qg5+ Kf8 23. Rxe6 followed by the fork 24. Nd7+ Or, 21...Qg5 22. Nxe6 fxe6, 23. Qc5+ Kf7, 24. Qc7+ Kg3 25. Re3 etc.
