GrahamClayton: Excellent use of the a7-g1, a6-f1 and a8-h1 diagonals by Goering to prosecute the attack.

White should have played 23.Qf3-d3 to not all such a dramatic entrance of the knight for free. Plus it blocks the pawn advance, thereby freezing the g1 x-ray. The notes to the game give 26.Be3?, suggesting 26.Kh1 draw. However, the real losing move is 27.Qf2 vs. 27cxd3
