Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-03-05  paladin at large: Fine endgame by Alapin over young Reti. Reti perhaps should have played 46......Bg6, forcing white to defend the e-pawn.
Mar-22-06  Puhovetz: Indeed, it seems that 46...Bf7? is a serious mistake!!! More agressive than 46...Bg6 and 'clearly' drawing is the following variant 46...Bb5+ 47.Kc3 Nc4
Feb-02-09  YoungEd: Much of the earlier parts of this game I don't really understand; Reti seems to play a "come and get me" style, and Alapin seems happy to keep trading pieces down. But the endgame is interesting. Hooray for Alapin!

Honza Cervenka: To trade a better Bishop by 46...Bf7 was not a good idea but the losing mistake was 49...h4? After 49...hxg4 black ending looks defendable.
