Feb-07-08  sambo: 20...Kg8 21. Qf7+ Kh7 22. g8=(Q, B, R, or N) #- white doesn't need to take the rook to win the game.
Jul-17-09  WhiteRook48: this is proof that the Two Knights is a bad opening choice
Mar-27-13  Gambit All: Not sure what's wrong with 14...pxc4. Can find ways for white to win Queen for Rook (probably something a little better is there) but it gives black enough material to keep fighting.

fredthebear: Interesting, uncommon finish <sambo>. 22.g8=Q++ promotion double check for mate is not seen much. However, underpromotion also mates, as you point out. It's also rare that 22.gxRh8=Q++ a pawn capture for promotion w/double check is not the best move available!!

sea7kenp: <WhiteRook48> Black can do a lot better, playing 5 ... Na5, giving back the Pawn. Or, if Black wants to see White sweat, try 4 ... Bc5! (This is called the Traxler Counterattack, and can give White headaches, especially in a Speed Game!)
