Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-17-04  alexandrovm: Nice blow by Kasparov on move 50. Ivanchuk's center connected pawns were not close enough to the finished line to make some counter chances. Also b and g pawns could not be stoped in time
May-27-06  spirit: nice finish by GAZZA!
Mar-07-07  AAAAron: WOW! 50. Rd6+ is an amazing move. After the exchange, Ivanchuk is up in material, however he couldn't touch Kasparov's end game with a 10 ft. pole!
Mar-07-07  whatthefat: <AAAAron: After the exchange, Ivanchuk is up in material>

What do you mean? White has queen and pawn for rook and knight.

Mar-08-07  AAAAron: oh! Yeah I see what you mean. The queen check wins a pawn after the exchange. Material wise, does a queen equal a bishop and rook?
Mar-08-07  ivanpetkov: no , it doesn't - queen is better than a rook and bishop
Apr-13-07  PAWNTOEFOUR: i really enjoyed playing over that game.....and aaaaron, you seem impressed by Rd6+.......don't forget these guys are grandmasters of the highest calibre
Jan-05-11  drakkenboy: Kasparov Wasted Ivanchuk!!
Jan-05-11  drakkenboy: Nice game
