Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-08-04  Resignation Trap: Lutikov "improves" over their earlier encounter (A Planinc vs Lutikov, 1969) with 6...Bb4+. Miro Radojcic suggested 8...Bxd2 instead of 8...d6.

The line following Planinc's 21. Ke2!! was calculated very precisely by the player who was nicknamed the "Yugoslav Tal".

Dec-09-04  drukenknight: when black grabs the B, shouldnt he put it down and give check?
Jun-06-08  DanielBryant: The position at move 21 reminds me of Shirov's famous win over Kamsky: Kamsky vs Shirov, 1993
